It\u2019s where we focus most of our resources and is our number one customer acquisition strategy.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In this section, you\u2019ll read about some of the strategies that have worked for us.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Write Low Hanging Fruit Content<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The first strategy that I love implementing is what I call the \u201cLow Hanging Fruit\u201d strategy.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is bottom of the funnel content designed for people who are looking to sign up for your Saas right now.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">While this type of content might not get a huge amount of traffic, the traffic that does come to the site is usually quite good.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of my favorite ways to find low hanging fruit traffic that could benefit you is to write posts like \u201c10 Best Product Category\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I\u2019ll show you how this works \u201cin the real world\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I created an article on our site for the keyword \u201cbest call center software\u201d.&nbsp; Call center operators are one of our best user avatars.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/low-hanging-fruit-call-center-post.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"low hanging fruit call center post\" width=\"828\" height=\"725\" title=\"low hanging fruit call center post\" data-id=\"3006\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/low-hanging-fruit-call-center-post.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to Ahrefs, the keyword &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timedoctor.com\/blog\/call-center-analytics-software\/\" target=\"_blank\">Best Call Center Software<\/a>&#8221; gets 200 searches per month.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We only rank #10 for this keyword (A new article that we\u2019re still growing).&nbsp; And this blog post consistently gets 200 visitors a month.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/low-hanging-fruit-traffic.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"low hanging fruit traffic\" width=\"1600\" height=\"235\" title=\"low hanging fruit traffic\" data-id=\"3008\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/low-hanging-fruit-traffic.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">That\u2019s 100 people per month looking for a call center software. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Find Proven Content<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Let\u2019s say you\u2019re looking for some really cool article ideas.&nbsp; But you want to write articles that are proven.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Here\u2019s what you can do:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Use a tool like Ahref\u2019s content explorer (you can use Buzzsumo or something like that as well) to enter in your product category.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/find-proven-content-podcasting.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"find proven content podcasting\" width=\"738\" height=\"204\" title=\"find proven content podcasting\" data-id=\"3009\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/find-proven-content-podcasting.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Then I apply filters to find content that gets traffic AND doesn\u2019t require tons of links to rank.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I found over 300&nbsp; articles about podcasting that get at least 500 visitors per month (according to Ahrefs) AND require less than 20 links to rank.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/proven-content-filters.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"proven content filters\" width=\"593\" height=\"625\" title=\"proven content filters\" data-id=\"3010\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/proven-content-filters.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Content Gap Analysis<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of the most powerful ways to find keywords is to find out what your competitor\u2019s are ranking for that you\u2019re not.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is called a content gap analysis.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Once again, using Ahrefs, we can easily compare our site to some of our competitor\u2019s sites.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For instance, this is a partial list of keywords that our competitor Toggl ranks for that we don\u2019t rank for.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/content-gap-analysis.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"content gap analysis\" width=\"651\" height=\"518\" title=\"content gap analysis\" data-id=\"3012\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/content-gap-analysis.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">There are actually hundreds of keywords that Toggl ranks for that we don\u2019t since they are a much larger competitor than us.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">But more on that in the next section.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Leverage Larger Competitors<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Let\u2019s say you\u2019re competing against &nbsp;an 800 pound gorilla.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Instead of worrying about them, use them to your advantage.&nbsp; One of my favorite seo content hacks is to write an article called \u201c10 large competitor alternatives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Let me show you how this works:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">At Time Doctor, our largest competitor, the 800 pound funded gorilla is a company called Toggl.&nbsp; So we leveraged their brand and wrote an article called 7 Best Time Doctor Alternatives.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/toggl-alternatives-comparison-guide.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"toggl alternatives comparison guide\" width=\"791\" height=\"585\" title=\"toggl alternatives comparison guide\" data-id=\"3013\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/toggl-alternatives-comparison-guide.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And then we put our app, Time Doctor, first on the list. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/timedoctor.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"time doctor\" width=\"799\" height=\"539\" title=\"timedoctor\" data-id=\"3014\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/timedoctor.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And as you can see, this post, with \u201clow\u201d volume gets between 200-400 visitors a month. (We must have moved up in rankings sometime in late November or early December.)<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/toggle-alternatives-traffic.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"toggle alternatives traffic\" width=\"1096\" height=\"273\" title=\"toggle alternatives traffic\" data-id=\"3015\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/toggle-alternatives-traffic.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">So imagine having 200-400 visitors a month looking for an alternative to your largest competitor coming to your site every single month.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is bottom of the funnel content attracting highly qualified buyers.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Identify Customer Pain<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The best way to convert visitors into customers is to identify their pain, then solve for the problem.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">People tend to Google symptoms of their problem.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For instance, Moosend is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onehourprofessor.com\/best-email-marketing-software-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\">email marketing platform<\/a>. They do everything from helping you grow your list to <a href=\"https:\/\/marketingplatform.com\/resources\/ultimate-guide-to-email-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\">sending emails<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">So, one of the problems their customers have is list building.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Which is why their <a href=\"https:\/\/moosend.com\/blog\/list-building\/\" style=\"outline: none;\">list building<\/a> article is so perfect!<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/moosend-list-building.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"moosend list building\" width=\"721\" height=\"351\" title=\"moosend list building\" data-id=\"3016\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/moosend-list-building.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It ranks pretty high for the keyword \u201clist building\u201d and gets over 200 visitors a month (according to Ahrefs.)<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/moosend-traffic-analysis.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"moosend traffic analysis\" width=\"812\" height=\"199\" title=\"moosend traffic analysis\" data-id=\"3017\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/moosend-traffic-analysis.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Parasite SEO<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of the best ways to get traffic to a site is through what Matthew Barby calls parasite SEO. &nbsp;Basically, it\u2019s leveraging the domain authority of another site in order to drive traffic to your site.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For instance, this codeinwp article called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.codeinwp.com\/blog\/best-time-tracker-tools-software\/\" style=\"outline: none;\">7 Best Time Tracker Software<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/parasite-seo.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"parasite seo\" width=\"1098\" height=\"434\" title=\"parasite seo\" data-id=\"3020\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/parasite-seo.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ranks high for a lot of important keywords for us with a relative high keyword difficulty.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/parasite-seo-traffic.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"parasite seo traffic\" width=\"693\" height=\"317\" title=\"parasite seo traffic\" data-id=\"3021\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/parasite-seo-traffic.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The cool part is we\u2019re listed first<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/parasite-seo-listed-first.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"parasite seo listed first\" Tour<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of the best ways to get in front of other people\u2019s audiences is to go on a podcasting tour. &nbsp;You can teach people what you\u2019ve learned, tell the story of your company, and become an authority in your space.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Not to mention the happy benefit of getting a link back to your site.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Host a Podcast<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of my favorite entrepreneurs on the web is Justin Jackson.&nbsp; But I would have never heard of him if he didn\u2019t host the podcast <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/build-your-saas-bootstrap-in-2020\/id1357295850\">Build Your Saas<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I get to tune in from time to time and listen to him and his co-founder John talk about their podcasting startup <a href=\"https:\/\/transistor.fm\/\">Transistor.fm<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Now, when I launch my podcast, guess who I\u2019m going to use for my hosting.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Build a Business Case<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The most powerful way to write a blog post is create a business case for your saas.&nbsp; Let me show you what I mean.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ahrefs, is a suite of <a href=\"https:\/\/narrato.io\/blog\/15-best-seo-tools-for-content-planning\/\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\">SEO tools<\/a>. &nbsp;One of the tools they have helps you find linking opportunities.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Then, they published this article on a particular way to find linking opportunities called <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/resource-page-link-building\/\">Resource Page Link Building<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/ahrefs-resource-page-link-building.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ahrefs resource page link building\" width=\"614\" height=\"141\" title=\"ahrefs resource page link building\" data-id=\"3025\" center;\"><strong>Publish Case Studies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of the best ways to prove that your product does what it promises is to publish case studies.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Lots of them!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The more detailed, the better.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For instance, we published this cased study called \u201cWhy Most Screenshot Monitoring Software center;\"><strong>Guest Posting<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As a way to get traffic to a blog, guest posting doesn\u2019t work like it used to.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the old days, I would be able to write a single guest post, get thousands of visitors, and hundreds of email subscribers, almost every single time.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">These days, that doesn\u2019t happen anymore\u2026 at least not for me.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Instead, guest posting has become a way for me to <a href=\"http:\/\/contentguppy.com\/saas-link-building-agency\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\">build high quality links<\/a> that I otherwise couldn\u2019t have gotten.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We wrote this guest post on Glassdoor.com, which has a high domain authority.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/guest-post-glassdoor.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Content Syndication<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Guest posting\u2019s distant cousin is content syndication. &nbsp;This is where you take a post that is already on your site and publish it on another site.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I\u2019ve written a very detailed post on <a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/content-syndication\/\" style=\"outline: none;\">content syndication that you can check out here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Have Migration Pages<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">When it comes to saas customers, one of the biggest challenges they face when <a href=\"https:\/\/risingmax.com\/mobile-app-development-company-new-york\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\">trying a new app<\/a> or tool is switching costs.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">They may Google \u201chow to swtich from competitor\u2019s tool to your tool\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">That\u2019s why smart companies, sure you have a consistent publishing schedule. They\u2019re getting expensive in a lot of industries.&nbsp; But they can still work well.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Here\u2019s a few <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wordstream.com\/blog\/ws\/2016\/06\/15\/adwords-for-saas-startups\">resources<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hubspot.com\/marketing\/google-adwords-ppc\" style=\"outline: none;\">adwords<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/adespresso.com\/blog\/google-ads\/\" style=\"outline: none;\">saas companies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Bidding on Branded Keywords<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Bidding on branded keywords is the act of bidding on your own name.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For instance, we actually run ads against the keyword \u201cTime Doctor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/branded-key-words.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"branded key words\" width=\"650\" height=\"421\" title=\"branded key words\" data-id=\"3039\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/branded-key-words.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And while we have found this to be a profitable strategy, lately there\u2019s been some controversy around this. &nbsp;Some people like Tim Suolo of Ahrefs wonders why a company would do that.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/tim-suolo-tweet.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"tim suolo tweet\" width=\"609\" height=\"495\" title=\"tim suolo tweet\" data-id=\"3074\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/tim-suolo-tweet.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/timsoulo\/status\/1163388333260623872?s=20\" style=\"outline: none;\"><\/a>While others, like the folks at SEER Interactive lay out compelling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seerinteractive.com\/blog\/bid-brand-terms\/\" style=\"outline: none;\">reasons why you should bid on them<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Facebook Ads<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Again, I\u2019m not going to get too deep in Facebook Ads.&nbsp; Same as Google adwords. Test them out. See how long it takes to recoup your money.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Here\u2019s my favorite resource on <a href=\"https:\/\/adespresso.com\/guides\/facebook-ads-beginner\/\" style=\"outline: none;\">Facebook Ads<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Facebook Ads to Content<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One thing that\u2019s worked well for us is running Facebook ads to a piece of content instead of a blog post.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For instance, one of our target demographics is marketing agencies. Here\u2019s What We Learned<\/a>\u201d, the team at Ahrefs came to a couple of conclusions.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">But the main conclusion they came to is that it is hard to attribute increased signups from sponsoring a podcast.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">However, Tim Suolo has mentioned that people have come up to him and said \u201cI heard about Ahrefs because you sponsored podcast X.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Podcast sponsorship seems to be more brand impression than direct response marketing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Sponsor a Newsletter<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of my new favorite newsletters is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zest.is\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\">Zest.is<\/a>. &nbsp;It\u2019s a curated newsletter of the best marketing articles on the web.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Marketing articles for marketers by marketers delivered right to your inbox.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Anyone can submit an article to Zest.&nbsp; A free newsletter offering deals to entrepreneurs.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/betalist.com\/\">Betalist<\/a>:&nbsp; Where startups can list their apps and get beta users.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.producthunt.com\/\">Product Hunt<\/a>:&nbsp; A list of the best new products daily.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.killerstartups.com\/\">Killer Startups<\/a>:&nbsp; Where you can list your early stage startup and get beta customers<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/angel.co\/\">Angel List<\/a>:&nbsp; A directory of companies who are hiring, looking for funding, and looking to be discovered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Upsell<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cDo you want fries with that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Perhaps the most famous <a href=\"https:\/\/trackmage.com\/cross-sell-and-upsell-difference\/\" target=\"_blank\">upsell<\/a> in the world. &nbsp;(Note: I haven\u2019t been to McDonalds in 25 years. &nbsp;I have no idea if they still ask this.)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Anyway, Saas companies like Clickfunnels can offer upsells to increase the order value of each customer.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And the interesting thing with Clickfunnels upsell, they\u2019re offering an info product, is that they can generate some revenue while the customer is in the trial.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It\u2019s a $47 dollar guide billed the day you sign up.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Upsell.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Upsell\" width=\"758\" height=\"445\" title=\"Upsell\" data-id=\"3114\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Upsell.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Cross Sells<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you offer multiple products or multiple solutions, you can always cross sell.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The folks who run <a href=\"http:\/\/www.appsumo.com\" target=\"_blank\">Appsumo<\/a> also run Sumo.com and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meetfam.com\" target=\"_blank\">Meetfam.com<\/a>. &nbsp;Both of which are email solutions for ecommerce store owners.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">So, it\u2019s not uncommon to see an offer for Meetfam in the Appsumo newsletter &#8211; There are AMA\u2019s, marketers can ask questions, and even get traffic to their own site.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Like I said, it\u2019s really hard to pull off, but if you can, it\u2019s a great way to market your business.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Guest Emailing<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A few months ago, I received this email promoting a lead magnet from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.growthtools.com\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\">Growthtools<\/a> called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.attract.io\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\">Attract.io<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/guest-email-from-leadpages.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"guest email from leadpages\" width=\"570\" height=\"513\" title=\"guest email from leadpages\" data-id=\"3116\" src=\"https:\/\/contentguppy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/guest-email-from-leadpages.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This looks like a standard enough email accept for 1 thing. &nbsp;This email came from Leadpages. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Basically, Leadpages emailed their list to promote the <a href=\"https:\/\/growthtools.com\/\">Growthtools<\/a> lead magnet.&nbsp; Kinda cool!
